Urban Restorative is a real estate development/interior design/general contracting firm that specializes in historic home restoration projects.

After graduating with a degree in Interior Design from San Jose State University, Carrie worked in both California and Texas for large systems furniture dealerships doing commercial interior design projects for major clients. When she and her husband Doug learned they were expecting their first child, she left the design world to ultimately raise three daughters as a stay-at-home mom. As her youngest entered Kindergarten, she decided to step back into interiors and worked for a small architecture firm as their in-house interior designer for several years.

In the Fall of 2015, an opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream to save old houses that were in disrepair became a reality and she poured her heart into lovingly restoring a 1930 Tudor Revival home. Buoyed by the success and accolades resulting from that first project, Carrie launched her firm determined to be the best in the business of historic home restoration. She delivers a stunning result that expertly incorporates the detail-driven quality and craftsmanship of early twentieth century homes with the modern comforts many people desire today. Her passion for historic architecture, experience in interior design and construction knowledge allow her to pay homage to the history and legacy of families who have loved these homes for generations and preserve that legacy for new generations to come.
